Energizing Tomorrow: Bridging the Global Energy Divide
Opening Plenary Session
Monday, 17 June 2024, 8:15 a.m.–10:00 a.m. | Houston, Texas
Course Content
Global energy demand is undeniably on the rise. Unconventional resources have, and will continue to, offer a relatively low-carbon-intensive solution for sustainable base-load and petrochemical production. The efficient and economic production of these resources will necessitate new cutting-edge technologies that can enhance the viability of unconventional resource extraction. Critical areas of focus in unconventional technology help to maintain capital efficiency in a volatile oil price environment and help optimize field management.
We have designed the opening session for an engaging and enlightening conversation that will shed light on the pivotal role of unconventional technology in achieving success. As North America continues to unlock resources through technical advancements in their positions, and outside North America, companies are growing their international unconventionals to meet future demand. The panel will discuss what makes our industry and unconventional resources a proactive part of the solution to meet growing energy demand and address energy poverty, while also enhancing environmental stewardship.
