		Course Content
In this topical presentation, we embark on the journey of predicting unconventional reservoir technology development and deployment. Through the eyes of a prominent figure in the industry we will trace his perception of the track of technology evolution from the early days of speculation as to the technical and economic viability of unconventional resources, to the present where tend of focus on short-term economic factors and conditions. Finally, we look at the role unconventional reservoir technologies will take in the coming decade – exploring potential technological breakthroughs in drilling, well completions, and reservoir characterization as well as strategic opportunities (e.g., EOR, LNG, etc.) that could redefine unconventional reservoir development.
