Who Should Attend

Facilities, production, petroleum, pipeline and development Engineers as well as operations staff will benefit from this course. The course is taught at the intermediate level and is best suited for students who have a basic level of knowledge or experience in oil & gas production/facilities operations, Due to the strategic nature of the discuss, managers of unconventional developments will also benefit from the course.

Objectives

To introduce attendees to the technologies necessary for the new tank-less, “minimum-facility” multiphase production approach. This highly interactive course will provide an objective third party perspective. The workshop provides insights into the benefits derived from an integrated and modular approach in areas such as CAPEX/OPEX reduction, HSE risk reduction, improved reservoir management, increased EUR/rates, in-well artificial lift methods and deliquification.

Course Content

This tank-less, “minimum-facility” multiphase production approach removes almost all production equipment from the pad site and provides a number of key advantages in terms of cost savings and operational excellence. The course details the industry’s deep operational experience with the three key technologies essential for this transformation of the surface production facility:

  1. Multi-port selector valve / compact manifold
  2. Multiphase meter
  3. Multiphase pump

Key issues around automated well testing, artificial lift, flow assurance/slugging and EOR are also included in the discussion.
