Understanding Parent-Child Well Dynamics
This flagship URTeC Permian Basin-focused workshop is designed to address industry-relevant subjects that affect business decisions today. The Parent-Child Well Dynamics theme is studied from various angles using available diagnostic methods, physical modeling, and big data analytics. Case studies from Permian Basin operators, service providers, and academia will provide key learning points that can be immediately tested and applied across the fields to improve recovery and maximize ROI.
This workshop intends to provide an integrated, Permian Basin-wide look at local geology, completions, and production practices that may help shape a forward-looking Full Field Development practice across E&P operators. It will promote collaboration and learning share in order to make the best business decisions and not leave reserves in the ground. Legal considerations for parent- child issues will also be addressed.
